It's that time of year again! Actually, this will be David's last Pinewood Derby. :-(
He's made some pretty cool cars.

He designed this one all by himself, actually modeling it after his mom's cell phone.
Don't know how many MPG (minutes per gallon) he gets.
There were a lot of really cool cars in the race.
The excitement at the finish line was pretty high.
David came in fourth, so no trophy. But he was a good sport and had a lot of fun.
David also received his Citizenship and Fitness badges. We're quite proud of him.

It just can't be that he is already out of the derby life.. 8o) he is getting OLD!!

that whole scouting thing is so foreign to me... we'll get our turn, though. our 3 year old will be scout age before we know it.
That is a really cool phone...er, I mean car! It looks so real! I would seriously expect it to ring any second!
I can't believe how big David is! I have a picture of him at our wedding...pretty sure he was still in diapers!
I love the car! Very creative. Can you believe that these kids are going to be going to ym/yw next year? Where does time go?!
