21!

Our "little girl" has turned 21!

So David needed  wanted a nightstand.  Mom found one at good ol' St. Vinnies.  It looked kind of girly, but a fresh coat of paint and a new drawer pull, and it looks great for our guy!  David did most of the sanding and painting himself.

Now, if the paint will just dry...

graduation

 It's hard to believe that David has graduated from 8th grade.  Next year we're on to the adventure of high school!  (And early morning seminary!)  Here are the proud mama and papa with their boy:

He won a Presidential Academic Excellence award for maintaining a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA all three years of middle school.
